In a high arc to Messe Essen
In mid-February, we not only spanned the construction of the new stand of the energy supplier Entega at the E-World in Essen. With the renewed pitch we also spanned a five-year collaboration. The expressive redesign of the 120 m² exhibition stand will also be used in the coming years and implemented by e.w.enture.
Cleverly struck the bow
The concept of the exhibition stand is based on the idea of creating the impression of a room without actually making a structural separation. Visual references and visual axes emerge which let the communication and presentation areas take a back seat or consciously stage them. The arches, which vary in size and height, draw the viewer into the interior and the rounding of the edges creates a sculptural structure, the effect of which is additionally underlined by the homogeneous white color.
In the end we got the hang of it
In terms of construction, we solved the challenge of the five large portal arches with a construction made of lightweight panels in a sandwich construction, suspended from the traverse. With a span of up to eight meters and a height of up to five meters, the total weight to be suspended was around 800 kg. The sixth arch formed the wall slab of the functional block, which, in addition to the kitchen and warehouse, also included a meeting room for up to 8 people.
