Hauruck – A Mammoth Project for Microsoft
In this impressive large-scale project, we were responsible for the expansion of an approximately 17,000 m² exhibition hall. The tasks included the design of the main stage including the plenum, the construction of 12 workshop rooms, as well as the setup of catering and exhibition areas. Despite a tight planning phase and an extremely short realization time, we were able to successfully complete the project – an achievement that still makes us proud today and leaves us with a true “summit peak happiness.”
Challenges and Teamwork at the Highest Level
This was one of the largest events we have ever realized for Microsoft – and definitely one of the most demanding. The timeframe for construction? Just three and a half days. Our team of 75 e.w.enture employees worked day and night shifts to achieve this ambitious goal.
A particular challenge was the precise integration of the complex LED technology into the wall panels of the main stage, which were up to 5.5 meters high. This required close coordination with the technical service provider and the highest level of accuracy in execution.
Impressive Facts About an Extraordinary Project
The scale of this project is also reflected in the impressive numbers:
- 3,000 m² of flooring was laid.
- 1,500 m² of stage platforms and over 4,000 m² of fabric-covered walls were installed.
- More than 800 m² of printed ceiling banners were mounted.
- 1.7 kilometers of fluorescent tape refined the stage and hall floor, applied by our in-house TapeArt expert.
- In total, we transported over 700 cubic meters of building material from Munich to Frankfurt.
Thanks to the close collaboration with our client Microsoft, the E-Team agency, and all involved service partners, we managed to deliver this mammoth project on time and with the highest quality.
