Sustainability at e.w.enture

Shaping responsibility.
Building the future.

Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a mindset. As a company that creates spaces for brands, we see it as our duty to use resources consciously – and at the same time develop sustainable solutions. Our aim is to bring the three pillars of sustainability – ecological, social, and economic – to life every day.

We act efficiently, goal-oriented, and with a high degree of responsibility – towards our customers, partners, our team, and, of course, the environment. We already rely on environmentally friendly materials, durable constructions, and well-thought-out concepts for sustainable trade fair and interior design.

Our aim: Solutions that not only impress today but will also endure tomorrow. Together with our specialist planners and the support of our internal network, we design processes that are resource-efficient, emissions-conscious, and socially fair. This creates sustainable space – implemented responsibly.

e.w.enture goes green. Because the future doesn’t wait.

Certified sustainability

Our goal:
To achieve more than we cause

Since 2022, we have been recording and analyzing the CO₂ emissions of our main location in Munich, including production—an important first step. But we are not stopping there: our goal is to implement climate-positive projects in which we offset more CO₂ than is generated in the entire process. To achieve this, we focus on transparency, responsibility, and holistic climate strategies—with an impact that extends beyond individual projects.
Our claim

Embedding responsibility:
Three pillars of sustainability

Sustainability is based on the balanced interaction of three key dimensions:

01.

Environmental sustainability

Aims to preserve natural resources. This includes the careful use of resources, the protection of ecosystems, energy efficiency, and closed material cycles.

02.

Social sustainability

Puts people at the center. It encompasses fair working conditions, social justice, equal opportunities, education, inclusion, and social engagement—both locally and globally.

03.

Economic sustainability

Ensures long-term stability through responsible business practices. This includes future-proof business models, investments in innovation, and sustainable use of capital.

Diese Prinzipien fließen täglich in unsere Entscheidungen ein – bewusst, wirksam und messbar.
Sie sichern die Qualität unseres Handelns und schaffen eine verlässliche Basis für nachhaltige Entwicklung.

Structure & Organization

Our sustainability team

Sustainability requires clear responsibilities and cross-departmental cooperation. Our internal sustainability team combines expertise from management, project management, purchasing, design, and production. Together, they develop strategies, review supply chains, evaluate materials, and support change within the company. At e.w.enture, sustainability is an active, lived process—not just a label.

History & Milestones

Sustainability is not a trend.
It is an attitude.

Sustainable action does not happen overnight – it is a process. At e.w.enture, we are pursuing this path with clarity, courage, and consistency. Our sustainability journey began with the firm decision not only to demand responsibility, but to take it upon ourselves. This is not about symbolism, but about profound, structural change. Each milestone represents real progress – traceable, effective, and visible.

Dimensions of Sustainability

Ecology. Economy. Social issues.

At e.w.enture, sustainability is not a one-dimensional principle, but rather a balanced interplay of different perspectives. In order for a project to be viable today and tomorrow, ecological, economic, and social factors must be given equal consideration. These three pillars form the foundation of our daily activities—on every construction site, in every concept, in every detail.

01.

Ecology

We reduce emissions, optimize transport routes, use durable materials, and ensure consistent waste separation in a closed recycling loop.

02.

Economics

Sustainability must be economically viable. Our modular systems offer high efficiency and process reliability—without compromising on design, quality, or function.

03.

Social

Diversity within our team, fair working conditions throughout the entire supply chain, and our commitment to global projects such as the well project in Togo shape our daily activities.

Sustainability Lab

Sustainability needs space – not only in our thinking, but also in our actions. Our in-house Sustainability Lab is exactly that: an interdisciplinary development space where we test future-proof materials, refine processes, and bring sustainable technologies to series production.

Here, creative minds and technical experts work closely together to find answers to key questions in our industry: How can we achieve lower-emission trade fair construction? Which material cycles are truly sustainable? And how can we integrate design, impact, and responsibility even more closely?

The lab acts as a catalyst for our projects and a quality filter for new ideas. What emerges here is not only conceptually strong, but also feasible—in everyday life, on the construction site, and for our customers.

Textiles should demonstrably contain recycled content. An exception is curtain fabrics intended for long-term and repeated use. We work with specialized suppliers who specifically offer recyclable or circular fabrics.

We comply with the HPE standard – the minimum standard for load- and stress-appropriate packaging of technical goods. In addition, we use sustainable packaging solutions such as OSB3 crates or reusable pallets, which we source from selected partners with suitable offerings.

Steel, aluminum, and glass should – where available – consist of certified recycled material. System components designed for long-term reuse are the exception. In cooperation with our suppliers, we pay attention to traceable material origins and documented recycling content.

We rely on environmentally certified paints and coatings. Together with long-standing partners, we review alternatives based on renewable raw materials such as plant oils, waxes, or stains. Isocyanates and solvent-based paints should – wherever possible – be replaced with lower-emission substances.

For printed products, we prefer environmentally friendly UV/LED inks (CFC-free) as well as sublimation printing. Whenever possible, production is carried out with print partners who work with electricity from renewable energy sources. Greenguard certification for low emissions is expressly welcomed.

A large part of the furniture used comes from our internal and external rental furniture pool – for maximum reusability. For long-term projects, we offer purchase options with multiple uses. Here, too, we deliberately rely on providers offering sustainable furniture concepts with durable materials.

We prefer environmentally friendly coverings made of natural fibers, cork, linoleum, parquet, or stoneware. PVC, PU, and laminate are only used selectively – preferably as ECO-certified variants. Installation is carried out with the most solvent-free adhesives possible. Carpet coverings are preferably installed with installation grids. Our suppliers provide suitable product lines that combine ecological and technical requirements.

Modular stage systems (e.g., Kleu, Bytec, Layer) form our standard solution for substructures. These systems are characterized by their durability and reusability – also thanks to qualified system providers with a focus on sustainable products.

For wall construction, we rely on system components made of wood – economical, prefabricated, and reusable. We work closely with manufacturers who provide us with modular solutions made of sustainable wood materials and supply them efficiently.

Our focus is on wood from regional, certified forestry – related to the respective event location. We source materials preferably from suppliers working with certifications such as FSC 100%, FSC Recycled, PEFC Regional, or the Blue Angel.

Our certifications & memberships

Verified responsibility.
Visible impact.

Certifications and memberships not only make our commitment measurable, but also transparent. They reflect our attitude—and are a promise to our customers that they are working with a partner who stands for quality and responsibility. Through regular audits and external assessments, we ensure that our standards are not only maintained, but also continuously developed.

The cycle as an attitude.

Recycling & Waste Management

Sustainability does not end when a project is completed. We guarantee proper waste disposal on our construction sites, document recycling processes, and regularly review the environmental impact of our production and disposal processes. Our goal: Less waste. More responsibility.
Refuse. Rethink. Redesign.

The Zero Waste
Hierarchy

Better together.

Complaint
Management

Complaint management is an integral part of our understanding of quality and sustainability. We systematically record feedback, evaluate it, and use it to derive targeted measures for continuous improvement. Our claim: Listen, learn, and improve together.
